Our Approach to Coaching
As a career and leadership coach I support my clients to reach the next level of their
success by enhancing communication; building strong relationships and navigating the changing business environment.
I specialize in working with professionals on communication and style issues that
impact their effectiveness in their current roles and may prevent them from reaching their career potential.
My approach is to use tools and assessments that increase self awareness of an individual’s
style and his or her impact on others. From there, we reinforce strengths as well as uncover blind spots, and
identify new behaviors to bring about lasting positive change.
In
addition to being results and performance oriented, I have a holistic approach, taking into account the whole person and his
or her wellbeing.
My clients appreciate my different perspectives,
intelligence, compassion, light touch, intuition, pragmatism and sense of fun.
Our Four Step Strategy
1. Increase awareness of the client’s
current situation and his or her self, by exploring answers to questions like these: What’s important to me? What’s preventing me from being my
best? What assumptions am I making? What is my preferred style of communicating? What do I need to let go of? What’s
at stake?
2.
Increase awareness of the impact on others and the organization, by finding out: How do I show up to other people? What impact does my communication style
and behaviors have on the team and the organization? Is my message getting through? How can I influence others more successfully?
3. Identify goals, strengths to build
on and areas to develop by targeting: What do I really want? What strengths can I leverage? What leadership or people
skills do I need to build? What am I not prepared to do? What resources do I need to achieve what I want?
4. Achieve results quickly and create
lasting success by becoming a great communicator, building advocacy and thriving in change.
